Antony Parke, Head of Customer Service for regional charity Access Community Trust which operates the site, said: "It's great to see so many locals and tourists returning to this amazing outdoor attraction. These events really do highlight why The Waterways exist. Combine this with the fauna and flora, a visit to the lake cafe and the opportunity to try your luck at rowing a boat - makes for a great day out, that doesn't break the bank.
